Birju secretly watches Deepika as she interacts with the customer, planning to attack her once the customer leaves. He then introduces himself to her and asks for a glass of water.
Chirag arrives home and finds Prithvi waiting at the door. Lavanya jokes that Prithvi is acting like a security guard. Prithvi informs Chirag that Janvi is coming with her mother and grandmother. Chirag, needing to take an urgent call, tells Lavanya he’ll join them later. Lavanya apologizes for the interruption but admits she can’t stand Sobha and her mother. She urges Chirag to finish his call quickly and then join them.
Deepika learns from Birju that he works in Jodhpur. She mentions that her father isn’t home, which makes Birju happy. She tries to call her father, but he doesn’t answer. Meanwhile, Janvi and her family arrive at the Mittal residence. Prithvi goes to meet Janvi, but Lavanya tells him to sit with Chirag instead. Sobha asks Lavanya about Omkar, and Lavanya explains that he’s busy running a business empire and isn’t home much.
Deepika offers Birju water and asks him to wait outside, but Birju tells her he’s leaving and asks her to inform her father. She stops him and invites him inside the house.
Janvi enters Chirag’s home and starts irritating him. Chirag calls Prithvi, telling him Janvi is looking for him and that he should spend time with her. Prithvi takes Janvi to his room.
Birju tells Deepika he wants to make tea for both of them, but Deepika insists on doing it herself. When she goes into the kitchen, Birju locks the door from inside. Deepika becomes anxious when she realizes her father’s phone is still off but reassures herself that Saware will take care of everything.
Sobha and Manorama sit down at the dining table and start eating. Lavanya asks Sobha about Deepika’s situation. Sobha reveals that Deepika’s marriage is arranged, and she will soon leave home. She adds that her mother found a demon-like groom for Deepika, mentioning that the man had two previous wives who are now dead. Chirag overhears this conversation and, worried, tries to call Yashwant uncle, but his phone is also off. Chirag then rushes to inform Deepika.
While making tea, Deepika burns her hand. Birju asks her what happened and then starts forcing himself on her, leading Deepika to slap him for his behavior. Janvi, meanwhile, leaves Prithvi’s room, making an excuse to get away.
Chirag is on his way to Deepika’s house. Birju becomes aggressive, pushing Deepika, who throws black pepper into his eyes to defend herself. Birju washes his face while Deepika tries to escape. Chirag arrives and rings the bell, but Birju threatens Deepika, warning her to stay quiet, or he will kill her. In a desperate attempt to protect herself, Deepika kicks Birju and throws a pot, alerting Chirag to her presence inside the house.
