The episode begins with Vidya telling Maasa that someone kidnapped Abhira. She hopes Abhira is fine. Dadi gets worried. Rohit and Armaan search for Abhira. Abhira is tied up. She angrily scolds the kidnapper.
She demands the kidnapper to come in front of her. The door opens. Someone enters. Rohit moves Armaan aside and saves him. He assures Armaan that they will find Abhira. Armaan prays for Abhira.
Abhira smells a familiar perfume. She says it can’t be true. Rohit says they have found Abhira’s phone location. Armaan checks it. Rohit asks where she is. Abhira asks if it is really Dadisa. Dadi looks on.
Armaan says she is at home. Dadi removes Abhira’s blindfold. She is happy that Abhira recognized her by her perfume. Armaan and everyone come home. He shouts for Abhira. Sanjay asks why she would be here and suggests tracing her location again.
Dadi arrives and asks why they are shouting. Armaan asks if she has seen Abhira, saying someone kidnapped her. Dadi admits she did it. Everyone is shocked. Armaan asks why she kidnapped Abhira. Dadi and Armaan argue.
Dadi says she won’t let their marriage happen. Armaan insists on meeting Abhira and asks where she is. Dadi says he can meet her but will have to pay a price for it all his life. She calls Abhira. Abhira comes. Dadi stops Armaan and jokes.
Everyone looks on. Dadi says she can’t stay in tension and it would be better if Abhira stays at home. She mentions the ladder at the window and the smell of burnt food from the outhouse. She complains that Armaan has become a guest who only comes to sleep. She is tired of it. She gives Abhira’s hand to Armaan.
Dadi says she is ready to get them married. Ruhi is shocked. Everyone smiles. Dadi says marriage should happen with all the rituals. Manisha has already decided on the wedding clothes.
She doesn’t want to break Manisha’s heart. Manisha brings a plate to ward off the bad sight from Dadi. Dadi says she will ward off the bad sight from Abhira and Armaan instead. She performs the rituals.
Abhira and Armaan fear their worries are coming true. Dadi asks what happened and tells them to start the preparations. Abhira says she knows Dadi has problems with her but wants her to accept her willingly.
Armaan says they want Dadi’s blessings, not a favor. Dadi tells them to stop. Vidya asks them not to hurt Dadi’s heart. Abhira says they know Dadi is accepting her because of Rohit’s condition. Dadi starts scolding them.
She says one must have the patience to grow a plant into a tree. The world has changed, but relationships are still delicate. They become strong with time and patience, or else they break. She tells Abhira to marry Armaan and try to win her heart.
She will also have patience. She says it is not important that they won’t fight. She will get angry at Abhira. Relationships aren’t easy. She permits Abhira to come home. She gives them toffees. She gives them a Bappa coin and tells them to take his name and start the marriage preparations.
Everyone smiles. Ruhi goes to her room and tears a pillow in anger. She wonders how Dadi agreed to the marriage. She hates Abhira. Ruhi is worried but realizes the marriage didn’t happen today. She still has time and a chance to get Armaan back. There is still hope. Armaan and Abhira see a plant. They recall their moments together and hug.
