The episode starts with Armaan and Abhira announcing that Dadisa agreed to their marriage. Abhira says Dadisa used to call her a problem but has now accepted them. Armaan feels grateful and says he is lucky to be loved by everyone.
Abhira playfully punches him and says it’s not a dream, it’s real. Dadi and Rohit go to the temple to pray. Dadi says she did what Rohit wanted. A flashback shows Rohit telling Dadi he never wanted the family to break and asking her to listen to him, or he would leave the firm.
The flashback ends. Dadi prays for the marriage to happen. Vidya arrives and says she wants to do everything properly this time since Armaan is the elder son. She recalls how they got married in the hospital. Dadi tells Vidya to do whatever she wants. Vidya smiles. Armaan and Abhira share a moment. The song “Yeh Rishta” plays.
Abhira performs aarti for Armaan. He feeds her sweets. She takes his blessings, and he touches her feet. She signals him not to. He kisses her hands, and they hug. The next morning, Dadi wakes up and sees Abhira. Abhira shouts “Dadisa!” They both scream.
Abhira says she came to thank Dadi. Dadi asks why she came to give her a heart attack. Abhira holds Dadi’s feet and thanks her for accepting her and Armaan’s marriage. She promises to minimize her mistakes and become Dadi’s favorite.
Dadi looks at her. Abhira corrects herself, saying it’s the job of fit and young people to accept children. Dadi blesses her. Abhira says everything will be fine and hopes Dadi will adjust to her. She leaves after apologizing for bursting balloons. Dadi tells her not to bring anything next time and just let her sleep in peace. Abhira promises to try.
Abhira, Armaan, and everyone else look at the wedding cards. Abhira comments on the size of the card. Armaan jokes about it. Manisha expresses disbelief that Dadi agreed to the marriage. Manoj reminds her of a vow she made.
Aryan teases her about keeping a vow of silence if Dadi agreed. Manisha tells him to shut up and jokes. They all smile. Ruhi arrives, takes a card, and tears it. Rohit comes downstairs and sees Ruhi trashing the card.
He asks if she wants anything. She says she just wants his happiness and is glad they won’t be troubled anymore. She asks if he is happy. He says he is happy and now they can focus on their relationship. Ruhi goes to make tea.
Armaan sees Abhira and whistles. Abhira asks if he isn’t ashamed to tease a beautiful girl. He says he feels love, not shame. She warns him that she won’t marry him if he talks like that. He tells her never to joke about that. She apologizes.
He says he can’t live without her. She apologizes again and asks for forgiveness. He says she will be punished and holds her close, saying they will get married now. She agrees and says he is right.
He says she is his and hugs her. She sees Dadi and says “Dadisa.” He thinks she is joking and refuses to let go. She asks if he has gone mad. He says he is madly in love with her. She shows him Dadi.
Dadi scolds them for their behavior and leaves. They laugh. Abhira tells Armaan not to upset Dadi. He apologizes. Ruhi watches them and thinks Armaan and Abhira’s story will end.
