The episode starts with Anupama bringing Indra to Asha Bhavan. Nandita and others ask where she found Indra. Anupama says she found him in the garbage. She says they were waiting for her call and message, and didn’t expect her to return so soon.
Anuj lifts Indra and takes her inside. Titu asks Dimpy if she has gone mad or if her mind is stuck on the phone. She tells him not to overreact. Titu says, “You are Ansh’s mother, but the teacher wants to handle the matter peacefully.
Your misbehavior will ruin things.” She says the teacher cares for Ansh more than he does. She adds that Ansh has become spoiled and hard to control. Titu says this is because of Papa’s over-involvement and her lack of involvement.
Dimpy tells him not to talk to her as she is in a bad mood. Titu says he will talk to Papa and Ansh now. Dimpy warns him not to. Titu insists he will talk to them.
Bala says he can’t believe this is the same Indra. Sagar says the doctor is coming. Babu ji says it seems she is in deep trauma. Anupama says Anuj was found in a similar condition, and now Indra is too. Pakhi says only five days have passed, and she is in such a state.
Titu tells everything to Baa and says all his words are true. Dimpy says he is complaining about Ansh and her. Titu says he would have praised them if they had done something good.
Just then, Pari comes and tells Kinjal that Ansh is tearing her book. Ansh says she is complaining about him and tears her book. Ishu says he broke her doll. Ansh says she didn’t let him play and ate his chocolate.
Ishu says he doesn’t share. Ansh says he will eat alone. Pari says he is very mischievous. Titu asks Dimpy to see. Dimpy tells Ansh it’s okay if he troubles Mahi, but Pari is his cousin. Kinjal asks Dimpy what she is teaching Ansh, saying Pari is his sister and Mahi is also a daughter of the house.
Dimpy says if Kavya doesn’t have a problem, why does she? She tells Kinjal to be in control. Kinjal says Dimpy should be in control. Ansh says their fight is entertaining and he will bring popcorn so they can continue. Titu shouts at Ansh and asks him to go to his room or he will raise his hand. Dimpy shouts at Titu. Titu says, “Don’t you dare.”
Anupama tells everyone that Indra needs their care, and the doctor said she will be fine soon. Anuj brings milk for Anupama and says he will do her work until she finishes the milk. Anupama gets emotional. Anuj says if she is not well, she can’t take care of others.
Baa says enough. Titu apologizes to Baa and everyone. He says he doesn’t want to create a scene and is fed up. He says he has tried to be a good husband, father, and son, but feels very lonely in the big family.
He says he is made to feel like a stranger and stepfather. Ansh feels he is his stepfather, and Dimpy calls him “my son” and not “our son.” He says they make him feel like an outsider.
He says Dimpy is not the same person he loved and sometimes he feels like leaving. Dimpy asks who has stopped him and says if he has so many problems with her, he should leave.
She says he brought the marriage proposal to her, and she didn’t force him to become a ghar jamai. She says if he wants to go, he should leave. Titu is hurt and walks out of the house. Kinjal asks Dimpy to stop Titu.
Dimpy doesn’t stop him. Titu gets teary-eyed and leaves. He thinks even men get hurt when the person hurting them is someone dear. He wipes his tears.
Anupama talks to Indra. Indra asks, “Why did you bring me here? You should have left me to die.” Bala says, “We can’t do that.” Nandita says, “Anudi brought you to your house.” Anupama says, “I gave you Asha Bhavan’s keys. Why didn’t you come here?” Indra says she wanted to die. Anupama asks, “Don’t say that. Who did this to you?” Bala asks, “What happened to you in 4-5 days?”
Indra cries and says, “When my son called and apologized, I forgave them and decided to go to them. They came from London. I thought I would stay there till death, even if my daughter-in-law made me do servant’s work. Everyone behaved nicely for 2 days.
On the 3rd day, my son brought my husband’s insurance papers and asked me to make him the nominee. I refused. He tried to take my thumb impression, but I closed my palm tightly.
He got angry, locked me in a room, and my daughter-in-law beat me with a sandal. She pulled and cut my hair. My son said nothing. She cut my hair so I couldn’t tell any relative what they did.
I used to read such stories in newspapers but never believed them. Now I understand this is Kalyug. No son is like Shravan Kumar. He kept me captive for 2 days, hungry and thirsty, then threw me in the garbage, fearing I might die in his house. It would have been better if he had killed me.”
Anupama says, “If injustice has happened, then justice will happen now. What do kids think of themselves? They don’t want their mother but want her money? Who gives them the right to raise a hand on their mother, misbehave with her? It is a sin, and he shall be punished for it.”
Babu ji agrees. Bala says, “He shall be punished so no one else does this to their parents.” Anupama says, “Parents never think bad about their children. He has seen your love, and now he will see what a mother can do when she gets angry. Even his father can’t save him. Enough respect, now your son has to suffer.”
Toshu gets money from a friend and says he will double it. The friend asks for a guarantee. Toshu gives him Vanraj’s number and says to take the money from him if he doesn’t get it back.
Anupama and Bala go to Indra’s house and see her son partying with his friends. She makes his wine glass fall. He gets up and shouts, “What is this misbehavior?” Anupama says, “Your mother should have slapped you, but she didn’t. That’s why this mother has slapped you.”
His wife asks, “How dare you raise a hand on my husband?” Anupama tells her to be quiet and says her turn will come. She asks Indra’s son, “How can you leave your mother to die while you party here?” His wife says, “It is our wish. Who are you to interfere?” Anupama slaps her.
Bala asks, “How can he leave his mother to die, who gave him birth?” Indra’s son says, “How dare you interfere in our family matters?” His daughter-in-law says, “He might be the guy who gifted her a comb. I was sure they were having an affair.” Her son says, “I don’t know what they do in Asha Bhavan.
Anupama shouts, “Be quiet!” She says Indra was happy at Asha Bhavan. When he called her, she forgave them and came back. But they took her house and money, beat her with a sandal, and locked her in a room without food or water. She says, “Your mother always says ‘my son, my son,’ but she wouldn’t have tolerated this insult to her character.” The guests are shocked and leave.
Anupama says, “If children are like this, parents will pray not to have children.” She asks Indra’s daughter-in-law if she has parents and where they live. Indra’s daughter-in-law says they live with her brother and sister-in-law.
Anupama says, “So your brother and sister-in-law should do the same to them?” Indra’s daughter-in-law asks, “What are you saying?” Anupama says, “A mother-in-law is also a mother, and you threw her in the garbage.” Indra’s daughter-in-law says, “You didn’t see what she did. She troubled us and didn’t give us money.” Anupama says, “It’s her choice whether to give her husband’s money to you or not.” Indra’s daughter-in-law says, “It’s our choice to throw her out.”
Her son comes and asks Anupama to cut his mother’s hair like she cut Dadi’s hair. Anupama says, “Your son has learned from you.” She calls the police, shocking them. They plead for forgiveness. Anupama asks the inspector to take them to Asha Bhavan first, then to the police station.
Dhruv comes to Indra and hugs her, saying she looks cute with short hair. She asks, “Where are your parents?” The police bring them. Anupama comes and apologizes. She says, “You don’t want to see their faces, but I had to bring them here.”
