The episode begins with Babu ji telling Anupama that it will take time for customers to come. Once they start coming, they will keep increasing. Anupama says the first rule of business is patience, and she learned this from a big Gujarati businessman. Anuj smiles. Sagar adds that one customer will bring more through word of mouth and good publicity. Bala and Indra assure Anupama that her business will prosper. Bala mentions that she has to do this catering because of the property tax. Anupama says it’s no problem, as Asha Bhavan is sacred land and they will succeed. Anuj offers to go with Sagar to help distribute pamphlets. Anupama calls him the best. She wonders why Meenu, Kinjal, and Tapish haven’t arrived. Nandita remembers Dimpy accusing her and prays to Kanha ji to send the first customer.
Toshu tells Vanraj that they are useless, but at least they are in front of him. Pakhi says Meenu and Titu are pretending to be the perfect niece and son-in-law. She notices Meenu and Sagar signaling each other and says she knows because she has done the same. Vanraj tells her to think before speaking and reminds her that he is her father. Toshu says that’s why Meenu and Titu go there. Pakhi claims that Mummy wants to take everyone away from Vanraj. Toshu says she has set up a stall in front of their house so they can’t show their faces to anyone. Pakhi says Mummy will sell their respect daily like Bhajiyas. Toshu urges Vanraj to do something.
Indra notes that no one has come yet, and it’s already afternoon. She worries that the food will get wasted if no one comes. Anupama says they will eat the food themselves and not cook in the evening. Anuj and Sagar distribute pamphlets to people. Anuj explains Anupama’s stall to a lady in English. Sagar thinks that Anuj Kapadia is slowly coming back. Megha arrives at the shop and plans to make a poster for Aadhya as a surprise. While talking to someone, Anuj notices her. Someone brings a tiffin and says the Dean of the college sent it. Anupama opens the tiffin and finds chocolates. She gives some chocolates to the children and plans to give the rest to Sagar. She finds a note but can’t read it because of the chocolate smudges. Megha leaves and accidentally drops her keychain. Anuj calls her to take it, but she doesn’t hear and leaves. Anuj follows her. Anupama tries to clean the chocolate off the note but still can’t read it. Megha and the Dean arrive home. Aadhya asks if he gave the tiffin. He says yes. Megha hugs Aadhya and says she missed her. Aadhya waits for Anupama to come.
Anuj asks people if they saw a lady come by. A man says she went inside the house. Anupama thinks the note must have come by mistake and leaves it on the stall. Megha tries to make Aadhya eat jalebi. Aadhya says she doesn’t like it, even if Megha’s Priya does. She walks away. Megha wonders if she did something wrong. The Dean tells her to give Aadhya some freedom, saying teens act this way and he will talk to her.
Megha threatens to kill herself and then thinks about harming Aadhya. Anuj is approaching. Aadhya comes with her trolley and says she can’t stay there anymore. Megha begs her not to leave and threatens her. Aadhya stops. Megha says she will call the police and child welfare, who will send Aadhya back to the US. She asks if Aadhya remembers how bad it was there. Aadhya stops. Megha says the outside world is dangerous and she shouldn’t leave her mother. Aadhya thinks if child welfare sends her back to the US, she won’t be able to find her mother. She stops. Anuj rings the doorbell. Aadhya goes to her room. Megha composes herself and opens the door. She sees Anuj standing there. Anuj gives her the keychain she dropped. Megha thanks him. Anuj gives them a pamphlet about the homemade food at the stall. The Dean says okay. Anuj notices a sketch made by Aadhya. The Dean closes the door. Aadhya hopes Anupama finds her.
Anupama and others are worried because no one has come to eat at the stall. Toshu arrives and says they want a burger. He mentions that no customers have come, so they decided to start. Pakhi asks for the menu. Anupama refuses to give them the menu, saying she doesn’t want them as customers. Pakhi and Toshu mock her for not knowing how to run a business. Toshu says it seems she doesn’t have the line of happiness on her hand. Anupama replies that Chanakya didn’t have the line of knowledge, so he cut his palm and made the line himself. She says a line was made on her hand today, so it is the happiness line. She tells them they didn’t come to eat but to taunt her. Toshu and Pakhi threaten her and leave. Anuj plays a song. Anupama thinks everything will be better tomorrow.
