Bhagya Lakshmi Written Update of 14th August 2024 Episode

The episode starts with Karishma talking to Malishka about Lakshmi. Karishma says that Bhabhi, which is a term of respect for a sister-in-law, has already faced many problems, so she wanted to keep some distance from them. Aanchal chimes in, saying they should separate Lakshmi from Rishi, but they need to come up with a clever plan to do it. Paro and Rohan then stop Shalu, who is curious why they are blocking her way. Paro tells her that they are concerned about her focus; she seems too distracted. Rohan adds that the mind can only think about one thing at a time, and suggests she should think of a way to bring Lakshmi and Rishi back together. Paro agrees, saying it would be nice for them to reconcile. Shalu feels annoyed and says they are treating her as if she is younger than them. Paro then tells her to go home and get some rest, saying she doesn’t seem to be thinking clearly. Rohan assures Shalu they will let her know as soon as they come up with an idea.

Meanwhile, Aanchal talks to Malishka about the couple’s bedroom. She warns her to keep Lakshmi out of it because if Lakshmi gets in, she might take over the bed. Karishma adds that Lakshmi shouldn’t even enter the kitchen, as that would give her too much influence over the household. Aanchal stresses that they need to keep the two of them apart. Malishka understands the message and agrees that she needs to be vigilant and set clear boundaries for Lakshmi. Karishma praises her for this. Just then, Neelam joins the conversation and advises Malishka to win over Paro’s affection, suggesting that Rishi will naturally be drawn to Lakshmi because she is the mother of his daughter. Neelam hopes that if Paro likes Malishka, she will choose her over Lakshmi. Malishka agrees to this plan.

Rohan and Paro tell Shalu that it’s time for her to go home. After she leaves, Lakshmi arrives and asks what they are doing. Paro explains that they are there to retrieve a ball given by their Maasi, which is a term for maternal aunt. Lakshmi wonders if they got the ball. Paro asks which ball she means, and Rohan clarifies that they are actually hiding their feelings of disappointment because they didn’t get it. They all go inside, and Lakshmi thinks that Rohan and Paro are acting very similarly.

In the meantime, Malishka is busy trying to position the beds together in their room. Rishi enters and asks her what she is doing. Ayush, Rishi’s brother, also comes in and offers him some coffee. Malishka asks Rishi if he wants Lakshmi to perform her duties as his wife. Rishi, confused, asks why she is talking like that. Malishka explains that even if they are not legally husband and wife yet, they should appear to be so in the eyes of society. Rishi argues that she cannot force him to do anything. Just then, Neelam walks in and questions Malishka about her actions. She insists that Rishi should move the beds closer together and tells Ayush to help. Rishi reluctantly complies, moving the beds closer while Malishka smiles. Meanwhile, Lakshmi walks by and feels upset, noticing the changes.

Later, Lakshmi is telling the kids to brush their teeth and get ready for bed. Paro asks if she can sleep in Lakshmi’s room. Lakshmi agrees. They hear their stomachs rumbling, and Lakshmi offers to bring them something to eat. Rohan expresses his wish to be like her, and Paro tells him that he is just like her, being her brother. They share a hug and Paro suggests they should hug their dad too. Rohan agrees that they will hug their dad tomorrow.

Shalu calls Lakshmi to check in on her. Lakshmi tells her everything is fine and shares that she saw the beds were separate when she arrived, which made her think Rishi didn’t want anyone sleeping in his bed. However, she noticed he moved them closer together later. Shalu tells Lakshmi not to overthink it and asks about the others. Lakshmi insists she will protect Paro and fight for her well-being. Shalu reminds her to take care of herself as well. Lakshmi hears a vehicle outside and questions Shalu about it. Shalu claims she was just watching TV before ending the call. She thinks that soon Lakshmi will realize how much Rishi loves Paro.

Paro shares her feelings with Rohan, expressing her desire for their mother to love their father like she loves him. Rohan seems confused but agrees that if their mother loves their father, she will not leave and will stay with them. Paro suggests they need to do something to make their mother love their father more. She says that caring is a form of love, and Rohan adds that sharing is caring. Paro insists that caring truly equals love. They both hope for the day when Rishi and Lakshmi will unite again.

Ayush speaks to Rishi about how both their mothers have called Lakshmi inauspicious, but since she has come into their lives, good things have started to happen. Rishi remains skeptical, saying he only wants Lakshmi to be happy, as she deserves the best. Ayush reminds him that Lakshmi has endured a lot and that they should give her time to adjust.

Neelam approaches the kids and asks why they are silent. She sits Paro on her lap and tells her she loves her. She then asks Rohan to take care of Paro, and he assures her he does. After Neelam leaves, Paro expresses uncertainty about whether to love Neelam since she doesn’t seem to love Lakshmi. Rohan encourages her that Neelam will eventually grow to love their mother too, and they decide to go find their dad.

Rishi tells Ayush that he feels Ayush is choosing Lakshmi over him, but Ayush reassures him that he has always loved him. He mentions that he knows Rishi isn’t really upset and actually seems pleased that Ayush prioritizes Lakshmi’s happiness. Rishi smiles at this.

Malishka speaks with Anushka, saying that the guard informed her that Shalu had been there. She speculates that Shalu might have come to see Ayush and asks Anushka to manage Ayush while giving herself a little self-talk. When Ayush enters the room, Malishka glances at him and then leaves. Anushka accuses Ayush of secretly meeting Shalu, and he looks on, puzzled by her comment.
