The episode starts with a lady asking Aditya to sing a song. Aditya says he is not good at singing. She insists. He agrees to lip-sync like he does in movies and says he needs a partner. Shrishti says he will call her since she is the show winner.
Arshi disagrees and says he will call Jhanak. Aditya asks Jhanak to join him. Anirudh feels sad. Jhanak thinks the song is for Anirudh. Aditya dedicates the song to his friend, Jhanak.
The lady asks Jhanak who she wants to dedicate the song to. Jhanak looks at Anirudh and says it is for the one who understands her more than herself. Aditya smiles. Arshi calls Jhanak shameless and tells Anirudh to look at her.
Shrishti says Jhanak is insulting Anirudh in front of everyone. Anirudh asks how he got involved. Arshi says he hurt her because of Jhanak. He says he understands why she keeps repeating it.
Tanuja says they don’t want to get involved and advises to give respect to get respect, earn money, and live in a palace with family. Bablu wishes he could do that and says people get respect by their earnings. Choton agrees and says Anjana has managed the house. Choton and Shubh argue. Shubh says he can’t stay there.
Aditya and Jhanak lip-sync to the song “Jaaneman Jaaneman.” Everyone claps. The lady says they sang well and asks everyone to have snacks. Dadi asks what she is saying. Shubh says they want him to stay because he manages the expenses, but he can’t tolerate Lalon coming there.
Bablu explains that not all poor people are bad and not all rich people are good. He taunts Lal, saying Lal respects money, not people. If Bablu earned well, Lal would respect him. Lal tells him not to drag him into this. Bipasha says parents always scold their children and want their salary.
Bablu says he is talking to his son. She says Lal is her husband. Aditya tells Rudra that his producer wants to meet him for a dance video. Rudra thanks him. Aditya says to talk to the producer when he calls, as the old man is planning something.
He sees Brij. Aditya wants Jhanak to meet the CEO to clear things up and prevent brainwashing. Rudra says they will talk to the CEO if needed and mentions Aditya offered a film to Jhanak. Aditya confirms. Rudra says Aditya is a big star with many contacts and doesn’t want anything wrong to happen. Aditya assures him that his intentions for Jhanak are good and he wants her to succeed.
Brij talks to the producer and CEO. He says he needs to discuss Jhanak. The producer leaves. Brij complains about Jhanak, saying his favorite student got banned because of her. He wants the CEO to change the decision and asks how they can disqualify someone.
The CEO says he will look into it. Anjana asks when they took money from Lal. She says they raised and educated him, so it’s his responsibility to take care of his parents. She asks what he has done for them. She depends on her husband, who manages their expenses, and Choton helps sometimes. They educated Lal, who is a professor, but Choton fulfills a son’s duty. Lal never brought them happiness. Appu has the best heart, and she doesn’t understand why Lal has changed.
Lal says that he is always being told what to do. Tanuja says they have tried hard to stay together. Choton says no one is happy and that Lalon came and told them everything. Anjana tried to explain things to him. Tanuja says she would have punished her daughters if they behaved like Appu. Anjana says she hopes Tanuja’s daughters turn out well, but they know Appu well. Bablu says he has made a decision. Dadi says they all must stay together as long as she and their dad are alive. Shubh says it is hard for them to stay there. Choton scolds Lal.
Rudra comes to talk to Jhanak. He tells her she can consider him an elder brother and call him anytime she needs help. Jhanak thanks him. He blesses her, and she smiles. He asks her to have some food and then leaves. She bumps into Anirudh and drops the food plate. He looks at his clothes and she apologizes. He says she only sees Aditya Kapoor now and asks what she did. She says she didn’t see him. He asks why she didn’t see him, saying that is the problem.
