The episode begins with Preeta questioning what kind of woman Sanjana is. She wonders how Sanjana can push her grandson, Varun, to marry Kavya. Preeta calls Sanjana a disgrace to women. Sanjana responds that Preeta is wrong if she thinks giving her life for her daughter will save her. Sanjana reminds Preeta of what she did to her daughter, who ended up on the streets and lost everything. She asks what crime her daughter committed other than wanting to marry Rishab Luthra. Preeta starts having flashbacks of Rishab and asks Sanjana who he is and who her daughter is.
Suddenly, Preeta hears a gunshot and is shocked. Sanjana goes to check and finds Varun holding a gun to Kavya’s head. Varun says Kavya used to listen to him but now acts fearless like a lioness. He threatened to kill her, but she wasn’t scared, which confused him. He remembered his mother’s teachings and got angry, firing the gun. Kavya didn’t flinch, which made him feel bad. He thought it would be easy if she died since she wasn’t scared. Then he realized torturing Preeta would be harder for Kavya.
Varun tells Kavya he has set up a device that will turn water into ice, freezing Preeta. He explains that Preeta will first feel cold, then her body will turn blue, and eventually, she won’t be able to breathe. Varun says they will play a game where Kavya must marry him. If she causes any trouble, the priest will start the wedding chants over, and he has already activated the ice device. It’s up to Kavya to decide if she wants to keep Preeta alive.
Varun promises not to let Preeta die if Kavya marries him but warns he will still torture her. He asks Kavya if she noticed why Preeta has been quiet. Kavya runs to plead with Varun, but he says he has given her the reason for Preeta’s life, and he can’t do anything more. Kavya starts crying, and Preeta tells her she is fine and that Kavya has shown great courage. Preeta urges Kavya to run away. Varun asks if Kavya wants to run but warns he will kill Preeta by freezing her. He explains hypothermia, saying the human body can only handle cold for so long before failing. He mentions news stories about people losing toes from walking on ice and tells Kavya to imagine what he will do to her mother.
Preeta looks at Kavya, who is emotional. Kavya notices her mother’s hands are shaking and remembers her childhood days of dancing and playing in the Luthra Mansion with her mother. Kavya puts on the wedding veil and sits on the mandap, asking Varun why he is standing there and telling him to come quickly to get married. Varun says this is what he has been waiting for, but Kavya took a long time. He slowly walks to sit beside her on the mandap, and the priest takes his place. Kavya asks her mother to keep her eyes open and requests the priest to marry them as soon as possible. She notices how worried her mother is.
Sanjana asks why Kavya is so tense. She says the bride should smile, not cry, as it’s a bad sign. She asks Kavya to smile, but Kavya starts crying. Sanjana tells the priest to stop the chants until Kavya smiles. Kavya wonders how she can save her mother, Preeta. She is crying and asks the priest to start the chants because her mother’s life is in danger. Kavya asks Varun, who says she should smile as his grandmother asked because it’s their wedding day. Kavya keeps crying, saying she can’t do it. Varun says they have time, but not for Preeta. Kavya pleads with her mother not to close her eyes. Kavya tries to smile but can’t and starts crying again. Varun says he can’t guarantee her mother’s safety. Kavya sees Preeta faint and fall into the water, unable to control herself. Varun stops Kavya from going to her mother and calls her back. Preeta struggles but manages to get back above the water. Kavya pleads with her to keep her eyes open. Varun signals Kavya to smile, so she agrees and gives a fake smile. Varun asks the priest to start the chants as she tried. Varun signals Kavya to hold her hands together. After a while, the priest asks the bride and groom to stand for the circling ritual. Varun puts the garland on Kavya and asks her to do the same for him, smiling.
Palki says they are in the right place. Rajveer asks how she knows. Palki replies it belongs to Anshuman Panday. Karan agrees but asks what their connection is. Palki says they are both enemies and might have become friends to fight against them. She asks them to go inside. A goon comes out with a gun, asking where they are going. Rajveer sees the gun as Karina and the rest of the family arrive. Karina tries to move forward but is stopped by Rakhi, who then hides. Palki insists they are in the right place. The goon threatens to kill Palki and orders them to leave. Rajveer is furious.
Varun holds Kavya’s hand and starts the ritual while Preeta tries to survive the extreme cold. Sanjana and the other goons smile. Varun hears his men ordering them to leave. He asks Bhanu to check outside. Kavya thinks her father, Palki, and Rajveer have arrived. The goon is stunned to see the rest of the family. Bhanu comes out and fires a bullet, shocking everyone.
The priest says the ritual is complete, and they should sit down to finish it. Varun prepares to put the mangalsutra on Kavya. Sanjana asks the priest to quickly complete the wedding rituals. Varun is about to put the mangalsutra on Kavya when she screams for her brother. Karan hears Kavya’s voice. Rajveer stands there as Varun puts the mangalsutra on Kavya. Preeta can’t pull her hand from the glass.
Bhanu threatens to shoot if anyone moves forward, warning them to go back. Karan looks at Rajveer. Palki pushes one of the goons, and they all start fighting. Rajveer beats one of them and runs into the warehouse while the rest of the family fights the goons.
Varun asks where they got the mangalsutra because it won’t close. Preeta is still trying to free her hand. Sanjana tells Varun to pick up the sindoor. Kavya sees her mother struggling and gets worried.
Nidhi rings the doorbell at Anshuman Panday’s house. Arohi asks if Nidhi really wants to talk to him. Nidhi says she is sure. Arohi explains that Nidhi said Shaurya can’t stand anyone hurting Preeta. Nidhi replies that she is Shaurya’s mother and can’t trust anyone when it comes to Preeta. She says Karan Luthra acts like a lion and will listen to Shaurya. Nidhi explains that Preeta is the biggest problem in her life and her existence is in danger. She will do whatever it takes, even if she has to swim through fire. Arohi asks how Nidhi can live without trusting anyone. Nidhi reminds Arohi of what she has faced, explaining that her own sister, Anjali, fell in love with Karan and tried to get close to him. Nidhi says Shaurya is still a child but has a soft spot for both Preeta and Karan, so she will do whatever she wants to Preeta.
Arohi says they are forgetting that Shaurya is Preeta’s son and there is a karmic connection. She explains that even though Shaurya doesn’t know about this relationship, he still cares. She asks what Nidhi will do when Shaurya finds out the truth. Nidhi replies that she might not be able to do anything at that point, which would be the worst time. She says she can’t lose Shaurya. Arohi asks what will happen when Shaurya finds out Preeta is his mother. Nidhi replies that she will keep manipulating Shaurya to hate Preeta and make sure he even hates her name. The worker opens the door, and Nidhi asks for Anshuman Panday. He welcomes them inside.
Sunny is shocked and says that Shaurya started hating Rajveer. Shaurya replies that he has never hated anyone more and didn’t even know what hate was before meeting Rajveer. Shaurya says Rajveer is a thief who stole all the important relationships in his life. He mentions feeling a strange connection with his aunt, which he doesn’t understand. Shaurya says he never listens to anyone, but he listens to her and even lets her feed him, seeing her as a mother figure. However, she also slapped him in front of everyone and insulted him, just like Rajveer did, stealing that connection from him.
Sunny finds it odd that Shaurya doesn’t like his aunt but doesn’t want her to be hurt. Shaurya admits he can’t understand it either. He does whatever she asks with authority. She was very concerned about him, but when their dad made Rajveer the CEO, she was the most worried. Shaurya wonders why she was concerned if it all happened because of her. Sunny sits beside Shaurya and says there must be something about Rajveer’s aunt that Shaurya likes, otherwise, he wouldn’t talk about her. Shaurya asks if Sunny thinks he cares after misbehaving, but he feels bad about it. Shaurya tells Sunny not to share what happened in the room with anyone. Sunny agrees, saying Shaurya’s secrets are safe with him.
Shaurya says he needed a genuine friend, and Sunny assures him he will always be by his side, right or wrong. Shaurya thinks he should call KD because he doesn’t know where she is. He starts calling her, and Sunny comments that Shaurya really loves his sister. Shaurya replies that he only has one sister and finds it annoying that Rajveer also acts like a brother to Kavya.
Meanwhile, Varun is about to apply sindoor to Kavya when Rajveer hits him on the head with a coconut. Sanjana is shocked to see Rajveer, and Kavya asks her brother to save their mother. Rajveer is stunned to see his mother about to freeze in the box. He is in shock.
